Yennai Arindhaal: Harris Jayaraj hesitated to work on ‘Adhaaru Adhaaru’

Gautham Menon has revealed in an interview that Harris Jayaraj hestitated to compose Adhaaru Adhaaru song. In fact, when Gautham Menon told him that he wanted an utterly local gangster song, Harris was balking a little and told, “Namma intha maari local ah song panna nalla irkuma?”. Then, he took a leisurely two days and started working on the song. “Danga Maari la erangi vela senjirpaar, ithula he wanted a classy touch,” reveals Gautham Menon.

Apparently, Gautham Menon has also written the English lyrics in Yean Ennai song. Gautham was quite tightlipped when he was prodded if the film is his cop trilogy after Kaakha Kaakha and Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and whether Ajith plays a policeman in the film. “When did I tell Ajith plays a cop in the film,” he slyly asked.

Meanwhile, the team has released the official ‘Coming Soon’ poster. Yennai Arindhaal is set for release on January 29th.
