Actor Jiiva, who participated in a hangout with his fans at Marrybrown yesterday as part of promotional activities, opened up about the film casually. Jiiva said he wants to do colorful films. “I’d like to films that will be enjoyed by youngsters and kids. Even I’d like youngsters to watch my work. I have a son and want him to watch me sing, dance and fight on screen. Kids love all that – I’m investing in them big time. Even Mugamoodi, which didn’t do well, was loved by kids. You’ll have all those elements in this too,” says Jiiva according to a daily.
Starring Jiiva and Thulasi Nair in lead roles, Yaan is all set to hit screens on October 2nd for the Gandhi Jayanti weekend. The film has already received the much-needed push from Bollywood celebrities including Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, who went on air to encourage the film, thanks to DOP Ravi K Chandran’s good rapport with them.
