Why Vijay Sethupathi rejected Thoppi?
Vijay Sethupathi rarely misses to fetch a good opportunity from film-makers. Speaking at the audio launch of Thoppi, Vijay Sethupathi revealed that director Eureka narrated the story to him long back and it was striking. “Director Eureka approached me with the storyline and I thought it was striking. But, I couldn’t undertake it due to prior commitments. My good friend Murali Ram, who was waiting for the break, has bagged the lead role later,” said Vijay Sethupathi.
Vijay Sethupathi also added that he is happy for friend and confident about his success. Vijay is currently shooting for Vignesh Shivan’s Naaanum Rowdy Thaan where he shares screen space with Nayanthara.
