Why Shruti Haasan missed Mani Ratnam’s film?

Shruti Haasan has just wrapped up Hari – Vishal’s Poojai and is busy promoting the film, which is all set to hit screens this Diwali. It was earlier reported that Shruti Haasan was approached for Mani Ratnam before a section of the media refuted it as rumor. Now, Shruti Haasan, in a recent press meet, confirmed that she was indeed approached by the team. “I could accommodate dates since I have prior commitments. But I would definitely love to work with Mani sir in the future,” says Shruti Haasan.

Earlier, Shruti Haasan was supposed to be the heroine of Vishal – Suseenthiran’s next but the actress was replaced by Lakshmi Menon later since Shruti said her diary is full till April, 2015. Shruti Haasan has also signed on the dotted line for Vijay’s next film with Chimbudevan, Vijay 58.
