Where is Kollywood heading to?

Its known that fate of Vishwaroopam release in TN is clueless. The latest update on this case is the Madras High Court Judges had requested Kamal Haasan to meet Tamil Nadu Government officials to find a way out. Its clearly a drama and doesn’t know why the judges previously said the verdict on the movie ban will be judged only after they watch the movie in a special screening. As of now, Kamal Haasan gave a new petition to govt requesting the ban made for this film by district officials. Also the film certification board source says, Vishwaroopam ban issue would go to Supreme Court.

Though this issue gets a clear picture yet, some Hindu Organizations had requested to ban Ameer’s Aadhi Bhagavan which is likely to hit the screens on Feb 14th. AB has Jayam Ravi & Neetu Chandra in lead roles. It may be mentioned, AB was filmed for nearly 2 years and gets ready to hit the screens finally. Also we hear, All India Anti Sea Food Association protested in Chennai Port earlier today to delete some scenes in Maniratnam’s much awaited Kadal. (Kadal is all set to hit the screens big this Friday, Feb 1st)They said that the film has some scenes which is against their community and it hurts them.

If we put all this issue together, one can never point out where is Kollywood heading to. Its high time for TN film association to held a meeting and conclude some strong decisions to Govt & Censor Board Officials. Industry and Kollywood fans are totally fed up with this issues. Hoping all the problems will be resolved soon with a strong decisions kept forward.
