When Rajinikanth showered praise on Radhika Apte

Radhika Apte, who plays the role of Rajinikanth’s wife in Kabali, has shared an interesting shooting spot experience. “My first shot with him was really fantastic; it happened in just one take! I had many lines to recite in English, while Rajini sir did not have a single line at all. I was desperately hoping I wouldn’t mess up — finally I spoke the dialogues in English without any fumble,” says Radhika.

“Rajini sir came up to me patting my back, and congratulated me saying, ‘You are a fantastic actor!’,” adds Radhika who shot for her portions in Malaysia, Goa and Chennai. Kabali is directed by Pa. Ranjith and gearing up for release on July 1st.
