“We are interested in Kabali sequel,” says Kalaipuli S Thanu

The open-ended climax in Kabali was planned to make room for a sequel, said Kalaipuli S Thanu. He has also added that Ranjith is interested to make a sequel if Rajinikanth gives his nod to the project.

There were reports in social media since yesterday that the film will be trimmed by 12 minutes. However, Thanu has denied it as baseless rumors and said that the film will not trimmed. The film is already setting benchmarks in various domestic and overseas locations despite lukewarm reviews from across the board.
