Wagah is a romantic film: GNR Kumaravelan
Director GNR Kumaravelan, who is teaming up with Vikram Prabhu for his next film titled Wagah, says it’s a romantic film. Contrary to earlier reports that suggested that it’s a love story of an Indian boy and a Pakistani girl, GNR clarifies that it’s a love story between a boy and girl from the south. While GNR’s last film Haridas focussed on autism and Wagah is said to have touched upon something significant, but the director is tightlipped about it.
Produced by Vijay Bhargavi Films, Wagah has music by Imman and Sathish Kumar of Meghamann fame cranks the camera. National award-winning art director Ilaiyaraja takes care of the art department. The team is currently shooting the first schedule in Karaikudi.
