Vivegam registers best non-Rajinikanth pre-release business record
The pre-release business of Ajith’s Vivegam is the best in his career which spans twenty-five years. It’s also the best pre-release business figure for a non-Rajinikanth Tamil film at Rs. 120 crores.
The TN theatrical rights have been pegged at Rs. 53 crores. The Karnataka and Kerala rights are reported as Rs. 5 crores and 4.5 crores respectively. The biggest chunk apart from Tamil Nadu is the entire overseas rights that have been sold at Rs. 18 crores. Also, reports suggest that the Tamil and Telugu broadcast rights have been sold at Rs. 23 crores.
Vivegam is all set to hit screens worldwide on August 24th. The much-awaited update on the film’s trailer is expected to be made today.
