Viswasam leaps past Rs 100 crore mark worldwide; set for century milestone in TN too
Thala Ajith’s family drama Viswasam has leaped past the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide. The project marks director Siva and Ajith’s third consecutive Rs 100 crore grosser after Vedalam and Vivegam.
Viswasam also marks Ajith’s fourth Rs 100 crore grosser after Vishnuvardhan’s Arrambam and other three films of Siva. Trade pundits are quite hopeful that Viswasam is on course to surge ahead of the Rs 100 crore mark in its home ground of Tamil Nadu soon. By the end of the second weekend, the film is expected to be profitable for all the stakeholders involved in the film, which stars Nayanthara as the lead heroine.
