“Vishwaroopam’s delayed release was because of the then incumbent CM”
The outspoken Kamal Haasan has leveled serious allegations against the late Chief Minister Jayalalitha in an indirect attack in a television interview, where he exposed some harsh truths. “Vishwaroopam release was delayed because of only one person. It was not by any group or whatsoever. It was because of the person who ruled the state then,” said Kamal Haasan.
Kamal Haasan also said he has never paid money to officials during the process of film certification for any movies of Raaj Kamal International Films. “I have never paid money to get my films certified. I have protested. Sometimes, they have banned my film (Vishwaroopam). But, I have never paid a penny. They too have never approached me to pay,” he said.
On work front, Kamal Haasan is expected to resume the shooting of trilingual comedy Sabaash Naidu from May or June, according to sources.
