Vishwaroopam 2 to release in December?

Kamal Haasan’s magnum-opus Vishwaroopam 2 has been in the post-production stage for a long time now. Uttama Villain, which was originally reported to release in November, has been postponed according to sources in the industry. There are only two days of shoot left for Vishwaroopam 2 and it will be completed soon. Aascar Ravichandran is keen to have back to back releases in November – I and December – Vishwaroopam 2. Since Rajinikanth’s Lingaa is also slated for release on December 12th, Vishwaroopam 2 may get released around Christmas, says a source in the know.

Kamal Haasan is currently busy with Papanasam directed by Jeethu Joseph, the official remake of Malayalam superhit film Drishyam. Papanasam is in the final leg of shooting and features Gautami as the female lead.
