Vishnu shares his playing experience with Dhoni

Vishnu Vishal, who played professional cricket before switching careers to cinema, has shared his playing experience with Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Like everyone, Vishnu was also quite surprised by Dhoni’s decision to retire from Test cricket. “It was a match against the Bihar U-19 team in Jamshedpur in 1999. After two back-to-back wickets, I strolled to the middle to save the hat-trick. I was just a 16-year old boy playing an U-19 match and I could hear Dhoni talk non-stop behind the stumps. I had no clue whether he was trying to sledge me or talking to his team mate casually,” recalls Vishnu.

Vishnu is currently working on the fantasy comedy Indru Netru Naalai where he pairs up with Mia George of Amara Kaaviyam fame. It has music by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi.
