Vishnu Manchu set for K’town debut with ‘Kural 388’

First look poster of Vishnu Manchu starrer ‘Kural 388’ was revealed on Wednesday night on the eve of his birthday, November 23rd. ‘Kural 388’ first look featuring faces of popular political leaders across the nation and Vishnu’s intense look displaying his inked finger received a remarkable response.

The poster has got images of MGR, Karunanidhi, Jayalalitha, PM Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu CM E. Palaniswami, MK Stalin and several popular leaders. It went viral in no time and has created a stir on social media. ‘Kural 388’ is being directed by GS Karthik. The film is billed to be a political thriller. It is nearing completion with shooting progressing at brisk pace and is planned for release in December.

Surbhi is pairing Vishnu in this bilingual which will be released in Telugu as ‘Voter’. The first look of ‘Voter’ received a tremendous response in Telugu states. It featured prominent Telugu political leaders. ‘Kural 388’ will mark Vishnu’s debut in Kollywood. Having been brought up in Chennai, Vishnu is fluent in Tamil.

“Voter is like a building block of any democracy. Politicians make false promises to patronize voters. But after the election is over, voters are neglected. What if a voter revolts for his right is the plot of this film. The universal concept of the story will appeal to audiences across languages. ‘Kural 388’ will be a perfect launch pad for Vishnu in Tamil,” said the director in a statement.
