Vishal opens up about entering Tollywood

We earlier reported here that Vishal will be doing a straight Telugu film with director Sashikanth. Now, propelled by the box-office performance of Poojai in Andhra Pradesh, Vishal has reinforced his decision to enter Tollywood soon. “I’m excited about my Telugu film debut that’ll happen later this year with a debut director called Sashikanth. The poor boy (Sashikanth) has been waiting for more than a year, and I’ve been stuck in various films. Now that Poojai has done extremely well in Andhra Pradesh, I’m confident that this is the right time for my foray into Telugu films,” says Vishal.

Vishal is currently awaiting the release of Aambala on January 15th. He has signed up two projects this year – one with director Suseenthiran where he pairs up with Kajal Aggarwal and the other one with Lingusamy, the sequel to Sandakozhi.
