Vishal lauds director Bala’s planning and execution

Vishal’s best film in his career, performance-wise, could be easily director Bala’s Avan Ivan for the effortless ease with which he pulled off the character. Vishal reveals in an interview that he was so apprehensive about the squint-eyed role before convincing himself to take the risk. “I was apprehensive but wanted to give it a shot because it was so challenging. I went through a lot of discomfort but enjoyed every minute. Bala is very meticulous in planning and execution,” says Vishal in an interview.

Vishal feels that Bala’s Avan Ivan paid way to Suseenthiran’s Pandiyanaadu and Thiru’s Naan Sigappu Manithan. “These films have added credibility to my resume; I feel I can tackle any language and genre now,” says Vishal who is gearing up for the release of Poojai directed by Hari where he is paired with Shruti Haasan for the first time.
