Vishal’s unflinching commitment

Recently it was reported that Vishal injured himself badly on the sets of Poojai and the talented actor will resume shooting only after he is fully recovered. Regarding the accident, director Hari in a daily says “A market was erupted in Saligramam and Vishal had to jump from a railway bridge in a crucial sequence. He lost his balance halfway and suffered a scrape. However, he resumed the shoot and completed the sequence even after putting 14 stitches on his right hand.”

The shooting for the film is currently is going on in full stretch in ECR where the Thala 55 camp is also filming with their crew. Shruti Haasan has already completed her first schedule for the film. Important scenes for the film will be canned in the picturesque locations of Pollachi, Coimbatore and Kerala. Poojai is slated for a release this Diwali on Oct 23 and will clash with Vijay’s Kaththi.
