Badass Vamsi Krishna to play hero?

Vamsi Krishna who made his debut in Kollywood with Magizh Thirumeni directorial Thadaiyara Thaakka is all set to play the lead role in a film. He made his debut in cinema with Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Telugu film Gharshana. Since then, the actor has been reprising sinister villain roles on a trot in Tamil films. His films including the recently released Maan Karate and Ivan Vera Mathiri stand proof for the same.

Now, the badass has finally signed on the dotted lines to play one of the lead roles in Kalavu Thozhirchalai, directed by Krishnaswamy. “Kalavu is a thriller. It has friendship, romance, suspense and the shady underworld. It brings out yet another dimension of me. Thanks to the director who believed in me. He is treading an unexplored path. We hope the film comes out well,” said the pumped up Vamsi.
