Vikram’s ‘Spirit Of Chennai’ song to release on Dec 31st

Even as Vikram is getting ready to start his project with director Anand Shankar from January 10th, he is currently busy directing the video Spirit Of Chennai which will appreciate the spirit of the volunteers when unprecedented floods hit Chennai. “I saw and read so many inspirational stories at the time of the floods. Many people voluntarily came out of their comfort zones and helped people to cope. I wanted to salute the volunteers through a creative art form,” says Vikram.

The song which is composed by Girinandh Vidyashankar has lyrics penned by Madhan Karky, Rokesh and Gaana Bala. More than 20 singers including Chinmayi and Shakthishree Gopalan have lent their voices to the track.  RJ Balaji and Siddharth are likely to make an appearance in the video. The song will be unveiled on December 31st and the video will be released later.
