Vikram Vedha composer Sam CS: “I felt like watching my mother on screen seeing Sai Pallavi’s performance”

Vikram Vedha composer Sam CS heaped praise on Sai Pallavi’s performance in Karu at the film’s audio launch yesterday.

“Karu is a heart-rending film. When Vikram Vedha was running in its second week, Vijay sir called me and asked if I would compose for Karu and said that it’s an emotional movie. After he narrated the script, I felt that I could convey the emotional bonding between a mother and a daughter through various sounds and took up the project. I was spellbound by the emotional experience I had after watching the film. I felt like watching my mother on the screen on seeing Sai Pallavi’s performance. Only a handful of filmmakers have the ability to convey emotions in a genuine manner without any manipulation and director Vijay is undoubtedly one of them.”

Directed by Vijay and produced by Lyca Productions, Karu is slated to hit screens in March.
