Vikram Prabhu goes back to Kumki days

Vikram Prabhu is eagerly awaiting the release of Arima Nambi after receiving good appreciation from film buffs on social media for the interesting teaser. His next project will be directed by Ezhil and has Sri Divya of Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam fame. The story of the film is set in the rural backdrop and Vikram Prabhu who has hitherto been signing films where he sports stylish urban avatars will get an image makeover.

“The film portrays the lives of the people living in a village near Trichy. Vikram Prabhu plays the son of MS Baskar, who plays the role of a musician. Soori plays Vikram’s friend and will provide the comical relief. It’s a usual love story, but the treatment and narration will be in a different style. Vikram enters the real estate business again his father’s wish and gets trapped between thugs who rule the sector,” says Director Ezhil. The film will go on floors from May.
