Vikram Box Office: Kamal Haasan starrer gets close to 90 crore mark in five days in TN and 200+ crore WW
Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is all set to become the highest grossing film of the year 2022, with the film showcasing extraordinary trends at the box office. Followed by the opening weekend, on Monday Vikram minted 10.8Cr (Day 4) and Tuesday 9.3Cr (Day 5). Vikram has gotten close to the 90 crore mark in a span of just five days, with the film earning 87.7 crores (till June 7th – 5 Days) at the box office in Tamil Nadu.
With this humongous feat, Vikram has broken the lifetime numbers of RRR (80cr) and Don (85+Cr) and stands at #4 in the 2022 highest grosser list in TN. Vikram is expected to breach into the 100 crore mark in Tamil Nadu max by this Friday, which will make it another huge milestone for the film.
The Lokesh Kanagaraj directed actioner has also crossed the 22+ crore mark in Kerala, and is now the all-time #1 film in the state for a Tamil film. In Telugu states, Karnataka and overseas, Vikram is already the #1 Kollywood grosser film in 2022.
Vikram has grossed A$793,681 in Australia, and has also broken records in other overseas territories such as USA ($2.1M+) – marking as the first non-rajini film and only the 5th Tamil film to do so in the country. In France, Vikram is now the post pandemic #1 Tamil film, with over 20K admits. Followed by Vijay & Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan becomes the 3rd actor from K’Town to join the elite 20K+ admits in France now! In Malaysia, Vikram grossed over 10+Cr whereas in UK, Vikram minted £513,786 making career best for Kamal Haasan in both these countries as well.
Vikram is also now the all-time #3 opening for a Kollywood movie at the overseas BO followed by 2.0 & Kabali.
