Few minutes after the announcement about Vijay’s Jana Nayagan set to hit the screens for Pongal 2026, the producer of Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi – Aakash Baskaran, turned up and tweeted that the Pongal 2026 will be a blast, and it deciphered nothing more than Sivakarthikeyan – Jayam Ravi starrer coming to theatres on the same date.
It is already turning out to be a smashing contest at the box office as both films have something promising and positive in them.
While Jana Nayagan is billed as the final film of Thalapathy Vijay before he enters politics full time, Parasakthi is a heavy and expensive period drama that features a huge star-cast and a strong technical team.
