“Vijayakanth sir blessed me when I apologized,” says Suriya
Suriya has shared an interesting story from the past on his official micro-blogging page. Ever since he joined the platform few days back, Suriya has been posting regular updates to his followers. In his story yesterday, he recalled how he starred in Bala’s maiden production venture Maayavi ten years ago.
“Somewhere say, 10 years ago, this day Bala na produced his first film with me! This year I’m donning the role of a producer, can’t believe time runs so fast! Looking back, Maayavi has given me so much to cherish!! Starting from trying the Clark Gable mush to nice times with Vijayakanth sir.. he’s one of the nicest n generous people I’ve known.. He agreed to shoot with us on a really last minute request and had to go without lunch till late in the evening, he never complained… I actually missed giving him my marriage invite..yess..my bad.. but still he blessed me when I apologized and was genuinely happy about it. . Lot of learning..! The director of Maayavi, Singampuli sir is by far the funniest person.. I’ve met.. also helped me be Sakthi in Pithamagan.. Fun times… I’m happy Mayaavi happened and am still proud that I starred in Bala na’s first production!,” wrote Suriya.
