Vijay, Vikram and AR Rahman to come together for Shankar!

The audio launch of Kappal will have Vijay, Vikram and AR Rahman come together on stage. Shankar has revived his banner S Pictures to release Kappal, a film directed by his former associate Karthik Krish. The audio launch of the film is scheduled on November 22nd. It has music by Natarajan Sankaran of Moodar Koodam fame and Sony Music has snapped the audio rights. Shankar’s last film under his homebanner S Pictures was Anandhapurathu Veedu which released four years back. Two back-to-back duds with Rettaisuzhi and Anandhapurathu Veedu made Shankar to temporarily halt his production.Ever since he acquired Kappal, ha has been actively promoting the film on Twitter and is confident about the content.

Kappal is said to be a comedy entertainer starring Vaibhav and Sonam Preet in lead roles and Karunakaran, VTV Ganesh in supporting roles. The single which was released recently garnered good response. The album has the remake version of Ilaiyaraja’s Ooru Vittu Ooru Vandhu song from Karakkaattaran.
