Vijay to reportedly play father and two sons in Vijay 61
According to reports, Vijay will be playing a triple role for the first time in his career in Atlee’s Vijay 61, the shooting of which is currently underway in Chennai. Sources say Vijay will play the role of a sardar father and also essay the roles of two sons, one of whom is a cop.
The team has been shooting the ’80s portions in Adityaram Studios and Binny Mills. The combination scenes between Vijay and Nithya Menen are being canned in this leg of shoot. Vijay is expected to join the new schedule from next week. Produced by Thenandal Films, Vijay 61 has music composed by AR Rahman, marking his first collaboration with director Atlee. Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal play important roles.
