Vijay’s title for Jai’s next with Manimaaran?

The grapevine in K’town is abuzz with reports that Jai’s next with director Manimaaran of Udhayam NH4 is titled Pugazh. The same title was earlier registered for a Vijay film by producer Aascar Ravichandran, but the project did not take off for reasons unknown. Jai is currently busy with director Saravanan’s Valiyavan where he is paired with the gorgeous Andrea Jeremiah for the first time. Valiyavan is on the brink of completion and Jai is likely to move on to Pugazh soon, says a source.

Earlier, Trisha was reported to play the female lead, but there is no official confirmation from the team yet. Vivek-Mervin of Vadacurry fame will compose music for the film. Produced by Varun Manian’s Radiance Media and Sushant Prasad’s Film Department, Pugazh is touted to be a urban-based action entertainer.
