“Vijay still sends 15 bags of rice everyday to flood-affected areas,” says SAC

While everyone knows that Vijay did a stellar job with his fan clubs in delivering essential commodities to flood-hit victims, veteran director-actor SA Chandrasekhar, Vijay’s father, has revealed that he is still continuing the relief activities. “He sends 15 bags of rice everyday to flood affected areas. If he helps someone, it always grabs the attention of media. He never wishes to hog the limelight though,” said SAC. 

“Earning fame and success alone are not enough for a hero. He should command respect as a good human being. It is not a big deal to enact great-hearted roles on screen. We should be a role-model in real life too. I feel proud and content when I hear good things about him. It is the people who gave everything what he has now. He should give back and always help them,” Chandrasekhar added.
