Vijay Sethupathi’s cop drama is set in Madurai
According to reliable sources, Vijay Sethupathi’s next untitled cop film to be directed by Arun Kumar of Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum fame is set in the backdrop of Madurai. Though Vijay Sethupathi will not undergo any substantial image make over for the film, he is likely to put on some weight to lend credence to the police officer role. He plays a realistic police man without any cinematic gimmicks. He will be paired with Remya Nambeesan for the second time after the super hit Pizza.
Vijay Sethupathi is currently shooting for Vignesh Shivan’s Naanum Rowdy Thaan in Pondicherry. The film is in its final leg of shooting. Produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, Naanum Rowdy Thaan has Nayanthara as the lead heroine. Anirudh composes music.
