The romance drama 96, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha as leads, is inching towards the Rs 25 Cr mark in Tamil Nadu. The movie, which has grossed Rs 23.5 Cr, is currently just short of Rs 1.5 Cr.
In Chennai city, the film has earned Rs 4.21 Cr from 11 days. The shows were increased for the film a few days back and the audiences are responding well to the movie. Until Vada Chennai and Sandakozhi 2 hit the screens on October 17th and 18th respectively, 96 will continue to rake in the moolah at the ticket window.
