Maddy is all praise for his co-star Vijay Sethupathi. The duo will be seen locking horns in the upcoming gangster-cop thriller Vikram Vedha.
“During the narration, I knew that Vikram was Madhavan and only Vijay Sethupathi can be Vedha. It would have gone wrong even if any big star has done the role. Vijay Sethupathi has done an incredible job,” said Maddy.
“The very first scene shot is a clash between Vikram and Vedha. That’s where Vijay Sethupathi and I can calibrate each other and that’s where we decided we both are working towards the same goal – the film’s success. Its the most outstanding lovable work relationship I have ever had. Like working with Kamal sir, we have mutual respect. This mutual respect should reflect in the film too. The audience can witness that on-screen. And he is an extremely accomplished actor who is loved by the people. There is certainly a difference in how people love him and me. As Varalakshmi told, its a clash between the class and the mass,” he added.
Vikram Vedha was originally slated to hit screens on July 7th but now stands postponed due to the ongoing theater strike in the state.
