Vijay Sethupathi was honored with the TN Kalaimamani Award at the Secretariat on Friday. Ma.Foi. Pandiarajan, Minister for Tamil language, Tamil Culture and Archaeology, presented the Makkal Selvan with the award yesterday.
Pictures of Sethupathi receiving the award went viral on social media. Currently busy with a bevy of films, Sethupathi is said to be joining the sets of Thalapathy 64 from early December. His Sanga Thamizhan, which didn’t release yesterday due to financial issues, is all set to see the light of day today.
