Vijay Sethupathi donates Rs. 50 lakhs for various academic needs in memory of NEET victim Anitha
Action speaks louder than words. Vijay Sethupathi has proved it once again with his magnanimous gesture of donating Rs. 50 lakhs for various academic needs of students in memory of late NEET victim Anitha.
“Ariyalur is the most backward district in Tamil Nadu in terms of education and infrastructure. I have donated Rs. 5000 each to 774 Anganvadis in the district. And, a fund of Rs. 50,000 each to 10 blind schools and 11 Schools for the Deaf in Tamil Nadu. A total amount of Rs 49,20,000/- will be donated to the government of Tamil Nadu,” said Vijay Sethupathi, adding that he’s doing it to honour Anitha who committed suicide after failing the NEET exam.
