Vijay Sethupathi and Jiiva in talks for Vada Chennai

Vetrimaaran had already informed that many Tamil film stars will be part of his long-delayed project Vada Chennai, which will go on floors in March or April once Dhanush completes his ongoing assignment Kodi with director Durai Senthilkumar. Now, the latest update on the ensemble cast is Vijay Sethupathi and Jiiva have been approached to play important roles in the film.

Jiiva is yet to give his nod since he has already signed a bevy of assignments and is waiting for the team to let him know the exact shooting schedule of Vada Chennai to see if he can accommodate this two-part gangster-drama. Meanwhile, close sources suggest that Vijay Sethupathi, who shares a good rapport with Dhanush, has already given his consent to be a part of the project.
