Vijay is the best dancer: Prabhu Deva
When it comes to dance, Prabhudheva is often called as The Indian Michael Jackson for his matchless dancing skills. But, when you ask Prabhudheva to pick the best dancers in Indian cinema, he wouldn’t battle an eyelid to rave about his good friend Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who he always admires. Prabhudheva met the Tamil press few days back after a long time and discussed about his Bollywood duties. When someone quizzed him about dancers in Tamil cinema, Prabhudheva promply said “Vijay is the best dancer.”
He said that Bollywood kept him busy all these days and he wishes to direct a Tamil film soon. He is currently working on Hindi film Action Jackson featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead role. He will move on to Akshay Kumar’s Singh is Bling after completing Action Jackson. Prabhudheva was also all praise for director Shankar and confessed that he loves to work with him. “He didn’t call me to work with him in Vikram’s I,” said Prabhudheva. Prabhudheva has a good rapport with Shankar and Vijay and the trio was last seen together in Prabhu’s birthday party in Mumbai few months back. His last directed Tamil film is Vishal-starrer Vedi.
