Vijay Deverakonda’s multi-lingual film titled Hero; kicks off with a pooja

NOTA actor Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming multi-lingual film has been titled Hero. The film will be made in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The film is helmed by Anand Annamalai, and an official pooja ceremony was held yesterday.

While the project marks the reunion of Shalini Pandey and Vijay Deverakonda after the blockbuster Arjun Reddy, the makers have also signed Malavika Mohanan of Petta fame for one of the roles. The regular shooting is expected to kickstart in New Delhi on April 22nd.

Meanwhile, there is a title war going on between Vijay’s project and Sivakarthikeyan – Mithran film, which was also launched yesterday with the same name. TFPC has already issued a notice that the title Hero belongs to KJR Studios. Also, Tribal Arts, which is bankrolling Deverakonda’s Hero, has released renewal bill copies which show that the title belongs to them until June 2019.
