Vijay on an appreciating spree

Vijay, who is currently busy with director Chimbudevan’s next film, has taken time out of his neck-deep busy schedule to appreciate the work of his colleagues in the industry. Rajkumar Palanisamy, former associate of AR Murugadoss, was surprised when Vijay called him to congratulate for his debut in the industry with Rangoon which went on floors two days back. “Directing after my mom lit d pooja lamp on Day 1! Sweetest: Ilayathalapathy Vijay Sir calling 2 wish on seeing 1st look #Rangoon,” posted Rajkumar. Interestingly, Vijay has also called composer Imman and showered praise on his recently released album Kayal. 

He also wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his relentless efforts which resulted in the release of five Tamil Nadu fishermen in Sri Lanka who were earlier sentenced to death. It is so generous of Ilayathalapathy to appreciate the efforts of his colleagues and to keep track of current affairs amidst his jampacked professional schedule.
