Vijay Antony’s Saithaan gears up for release

Basking in the glory of his last outing Pichaikkaran, Vijay Antony is gearing up for the release of Saithaan directed by debutant Prathi Krishnamurthy. Vijay Antony, who has taken up versatile lead roles in his films, will be seen playing a software engineer in Saithaan, which has been shot across Chennai, Pondicherry, Palakkad and Pollachi.

The audio launch is expected to happen sometime in June. The film will see the light of day towards the end of July or early August. In Saithaan, he is paired opposite newcomer Arundhati Nair. The movie also has Alisha Abdulla and Meera Krishnan in important roles. Vijay Antony is currently busy with director Jeeva Shankar’s Yeman, which is bankrolled by Lyca Productions.

Also it is worth mentioning here that the entire rights of Saithaan has been snapped by Auraa Cinemas for a whooping sum, which is said to be highest ever for a Vijay Antony film.
