Vijay Antony’s Kolaigaran rakes in Rs 13.5 crores from 10 days in TN
Vijay Antony, who had a dip with his last few outings, has tasted a solid super-hit in crime thriller Kolaigaran. The film directed by Andrew Louis and presented by Dhananjayan’s BOFTA Media Works has raked in Rs 13.5 crores in Tamil Nadu until the end of the second weekend.
The film is believed to have grossed a superb total of Rs 2.85 crores in its second weekend in the state. Despite a flurry of new releases, Kolaigaran topped the Chennai city box-office, besting other acclaimed film Game Over, and the hotly anticipated Hollywood actioner Men In Black: International. In Chennai city alone, Kolaigaran has garnered a total of Rs 2.04 crores in 10 days.
