Vijay 58 grandly flags off; a 45-day schedule on the cards

Vijay’s next film with Chimbudevan was flagged off yesterday in a grand set erected in East Coast Road in Aditya Ram studios. The team will shoot important scenes in the first schedule in this lavish set sprawling across 10 acres in the city outskirts. A song featuring 100 foreign dancers will also be shot in this 45-day schedule which will last till December end. The team is also planning to film a crucial stunt sequence in this castle set. But, some sources say the project was flagged off yesterday but the film will go on the floors only tomorrow.

Produced by Thameens and PT Selvakumar, Vijay 58 has Vijay, Hansika Motwani and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. Hansika plays the role of a princess in the film and Sridevi Boney Kapoor plays her mother. Sudeep of Naan Ee fame also plays an important role in the film. It is said to be commercial entertainer with a tinge of fantasy element. It has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
