Vetrimaaran opens up about doing a straight Telugu film

Viduthalai Part 1 has turned out to be a mega blockbuster from director Vetrimaaran, earning solid numbers at the box office even though it does not feature a big star and has an A certificate.

In a recent interview, when asked about his Telugu film, Vetrimaaran said “I met Allu Arjun after Aadukalam with the script of Vada Chennai, but it did not happen. After that, I met Mahesh Babu. I met NTR in the post lockdown period and discussions are going on. It will take time, but I will definitely make a Telugu film.”
