“Vetrimaaran, note pannunga sir,” says Vignesh Shivan
Enthused about the six Oscar nominations for highly-acclaimed Korean film Parasite directed by master filmmaker Boon Joon-Ho, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan tagged Vetrimaaran to make note of his historic occasion as it’s the first time in the history of Academy awards that a Korean film has managed to bag both Best Picture and Best Foreign Film nods.
Inspiring to see #Parasite – the MasterPiece from #BongJoonHo – a socio-political thriller on class warfare getting this much acknowledgement from @TheAcademy 👏🏻
