Vetrimaaran-Dhanush’s next is based on the novel of this Sahitya Akademi Award winner

Dhanush had recently announced at the press meet of Vada Chennai that he would reteam with Vetrimaaran for their fourth collaboration. The shooting of the film is expected to kickstart this week.

Now, the national award-winning filmmaker has revealed that the movie is based on the Tamil novel Vekkai written by Sahitya Akademi Award-winning writer Poomani. After completing this untitled project, the duo will join forces again for the second part of Vada Chennai next year.

Vada Chennai is all set to hit screens on October 17th.
