Venkat Prabhu to direct Surya, Shruti Haasan?

Director Venkat Prabhu mentioned in one of his tweets that he’s busy working on the pre-production of his next. Now, if the sources in the industry are to believed, the vernal director is likely to cast Surya and Shruti Haasan in his next. Surya and Shruti Haasan’s chemistry worked well in AR Murugadoss’s directorial Ezhaam Arivu. Venkat Prabhu has already narrated the story to Surya and the actor seems to have been impressed by the same, says a credible source.

Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan, who is all set to begin her next project with Vishal titled Poojai, has really liked the story and trying to accommodate this film in her already busy schedule. The pooja launch for this untitled project may happen in the city on April 14 and the shooting is likely to start from June. An official announcement from the team is awaited.
