Vemal and Anjali join hands for Maappillai Singam

As Vemal’s latest offering Oru Oorla Rendu Raja is still running in theaters, the news about his next project has been made official. We reported last week here that Vemal’s next will be produced by Madan for Escape Artists Motion Pictures and directed by debutant Rajasekar, a former associate of director Ezhil. The latest news is Anjali, who is currently busy with the Suraj – Jayam Ravi actioner, will play the female lead in this out and out commercial entertainer.

The film has been titled Maapillai Singam and is expected to go on the floors soon. Vemal is pairing up with Anjali for the third time after Gaurav’s Thoonganagaram and Sundar C’s Kalakalappu. Soori will provide comic relief.
