Velai Illa Pattathari likely to release on March 28th

With songs already topping the charts, Velai Illa Pattadhari team have reasons more than one to be happy. Sources reveal that the post-production of the film is on the verge of completion and it is likely to release on March 28th. As the exam season in Tamil Nadu is already under way, we might not be surprised if the team decides to postpone the film’s release to a later date.

The tripping melody sung by Dhanush and S. Janaki is already a hit in radio stations and the title track mashup of Velaiyilla Pattathari starring Rajinikanth is going viral on the social networks. VIP is Velraj’s debutant flick as a director, the cinematographer of Aadukalam’s new avatar in the industry. It also stars Amala Paul as Dhanush’s lady love and has Saranya Ponvannan and filmmaker Samuthirakani playing the supporting roles. It is worth noticing that Amala Paul and Jayam Ravi starrer Nimirndhu Nil, directed by Samuthirakanu is releasing next Friday.
