Varalaxmi, Sathyaraj starrer ‘Echcharikkai’ has grabbed the attention of moviegoers

Major malls in the city sported the words “Echcharikkai Idhu Manidhargal Nadamaadum Idam” in LED displays over the past few days, making people curious as to what this could mean. Having raised eyebrows through that, the filmmakers went on to launch a Facebook 360 degree photo to announce the first look launch of the film titled Echcharikkai. Directors Mani Ratnam, A R Murugadoss, and Bala unveiled three first look posters on 20 April.

Tipped to be a thriller, the movie stars Sathyaraj, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, debutants Vivek Rajgopal and Kishore in lead roles and is being directed by debutant Sarjun KM, a former associate of directors Mani Ratnam and A R Murugadoss.

Produced by Timeline Cinemas, Echcharikkai has a young technical crew comprising of DoP Sudarshan Srinivasan, Editor Karthik Jogesh, Music Director Sundaramurthy KS and Art Director Vijay Adhinathan. The shooting of the movie is nearing its completion now.
