Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s Velvet Nagaram is based on true incidents

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s first women-centric thriller Velvet Nagaram is based on real-life incidents that happened in Madurai and Kodaikanal. The makers have already completed nearly 65% of the project.

Directed by debutant Manojkumar Natarajan, Varalaxmi plays the role of an investigative journalist who helps tribals living in a forest. Velvet Nagaram is being produced by Arun Karthick.
