Bland and Boilerplate!
Imman comes up with a bromidic album in Valiyavan which has no big reason to excite. One hopes for good visuals, which will up the ante on the big screen.

- Aahaa Kathal Vandhu; Singer: KG Ranjith – A simple tune at the base and Ranjith’s vocals to add to it, Aahaa Kadhal Vandhu is a lovely jingle to start things off. Pipes and percussions galore, Imman leaves most of the space to the vocalist who impresses with his modulations. Our PICK!
- Hello Hello; Singer: Papon – Papon joins hands with Imman for probably the first time, a drunk Happy Birthday song. No great shakes here as the pedestrian chorus or the instrumentations don’t help the singer in any way whatsoever
- Yelomia; Singer: Sunidhi Chauhan – Barring Sunidhi Chauhan’s rendition, Yelomia is just a passable solo from the composer. Harmless, but commonplace
- Kathal Nallavana; Singers: Singdha Chandra, Elfe – Mundane is the word for this track. Neither the lead vocals or the orchestration saves this one, which ultimately wanders off track
- Eyes on you; Singer: Sharanya Gopinath, Keba (Guitar) – Being an action thriller, Valiyavan required a tough theme and D.Imman provides just that. Tense!
- O Baby Come With Me; Singers: D.Imman, MLR Karthikeyan – In an attempt to churn out a peppy track, the composer comes up with a forgettable one if not for the interesting interludes
