Valiyavan and Okay Kanmani set for a February clash?

If you think a slew of Tamil films are up against each other at the box-office in January, February is no exception either. A spate of films are waiting in the fray to hit the screens, including SP Jananathan directed Purampokku, KV Anand’s Anegan, Ramesh Aravind – Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain, Mani Ratnam’s Okay Kanmani and Saravanan’s Valiyavan. While Purampokku is scheduled for release on February 6th,  Anegan and Uttama Villain are slotted for towards the third week.

Meanwhile, the makers of Valiyavan and Okay Kanmani have made their intentions clear to target the Valentines Day weekend to cash in on the young audience. Both films are said to be romantic entertainers, while the former has a generous dose of action too. Valiyavan features Jai and Andrea in lead roles and Okay Kanmani stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen as leads.
